Khudadad Wajo is a representative of the Gwader Mahigir Ithehad GMI), a local organisation that works on basic rights, health, gender equality, education, livelihood and environment of local fishermen and raises their voices on such issues in different forums. This organisation has worked to highlight the genuine issues of local fishermen like accessibility around East Bay Expressway Gwadar, issues of resettlement of locals in GDA new masterplan and freshwater crisis in Gwader. It also highlights the livelihood issues of local fishermen like poaching by Sindh based fishermen using illegal fishing gear in the territorial water of Balochistan. It has also raised issues of gender mainstreaming and women empowerment in Gwader district to give them equal space in inclusive development in the future.
