The workshop helped develop an understanding of human interaction with natural environment, factors that turn
hazards into disasters. It provided an opportunity to observe and analyze local mitigation techniques for catastrophic
events and gauge local knowledge about the concept of risk in order to produce a hazard profile for Hussaini Village.
