Hala Bashir Malik is an architect currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. She is a recent graduate of the Aga Khan Program of Islamic Architecture (AKPIA) at MIT. Since 2010, she has also been part of the organization, Resettling the Indus, which has been using the built environment as the domain through which disaster-struck communities have been resettled and rehabilitated. Previously, she has worked with the Aga Khan Cultural Service Pakistan on the Lahore Walled City Project, and has taught design studio and lectured at the Beaconhouse National University (BNU).
